Cancers for the number one threat of citizen health, not only is the top death cause, but also increases the amount of people suffer from it year by year. The hospital has endeavored to advance the quality of the cancer treatment, its Cancer Center establishes for integrating the related resources of the cancer treatment and providing patients the most perfect treatment and care. The Cancer Center of E-Da Hospital integrates the following departments, Department of Hematology & Oncology, Department of Nuclear Medicine, Department of Diagnostic Radiology, Department of Pathology, Department of Otolaryngology, Department of Thoracic Surgery, Department of Chest Medicine, Department of Gastroenterology, Department of General Surgery, Department of Neurosurgery, Department of Plastic Surgery, Department of Urology, Department of Colon & Rectal Surgery, Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Department of Psychiatry, Department of Rehabilitation, Department of Pediatrics, Nursing Dept., Nutrition Section, and Department of Pharmacy.

Task
1. To embark clinical research and research of molecular biology against cancers, which especially prevail in Taiwan. The goal of this center is to become a world-renowned cancer research center.
2. To integrate each related departments and conclude the treatment policies provided each department to follow of each kind of cancer definitely.
3. To strengthen the clinical basic teaching of the cancer treatment, upgrade the standard of the cancer treatment group of the hospital, and assist other hospitals to develop the cancer treatment group.
4. To establish an estimation and trace system of epidemiology of cancer.
5. To establish an estimation system of cancer patients' life quality.
